New Podcast + Join me on Notes
Want to listen to me talk way too fast about FIRE? I joined financial planner Thomas Kopelman on his podcast The Long Game to talk more about the optionality of FIRE.
We talk through balancing the pervasive frugal elements of FIRE with living your life and figuring out your WHY! How I set my mission statement and how I believe in the flexibility of being willing to change your plan over time.
It was great getting to talk to Thomas about this because he talks to people like me every day. Thomas is part of the next generation of financial planner that approaches things extremely transparently. You can literally go to his website and see exactly what you get and how much it will cost. I know that not everyone likes to get into the weeds and DIY their entire financial life so I really value more and more financial planners that provide ad-hoc options.
Not paid in any way to say this! Always ask any financial professional how they are compensated, ask if they are a fiduciary, never let anyone take 1% AUM, and run if the first thing they bring up is an annuity.
I just published my first note on Substack Notes, and would love for you to join me there!
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to FAANG FIRE by Andre Nader, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of FAANG FIRE by Andre Nader can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
